Majestic sound design. My ears have been blessed

I thought this was ok, if a little muddled, primarily because the two plot threads never really felt like they coalesced in an effective or satisfying way. There was some beautiful camera work, though, and more movies could probably benefit from the introduction of a sex ghost at the farmer's market.

It is truly a female monstrosity. Godard saw these films by Mizoguchi and inherited his artistic legacy. This is a masterpiece of Mizoguchi's direction and camera work in black-and-white. It is a film from my home country and my favorite Japanese film, even more so than "Seven Samurai". The lead actress, Machiko Kyo, is perfect and as beautiful as a fairy in the heavenly realm.
