This film gracefully stradles the line that separates awful films from those that are so bad they're good. This film is awful; but I love it. [spoiler] The scene that really makes this film something else is the one in which Jason is told that Emily is with God, and for just a moment you believe she's dead, only for it to hard cut to her praying in a church. Funniest thing I've ever seen. [/spoiler]

Its a bad movie, as far as movies go. Ceaseless plot holes and oddities. Its pretty far removed from reality. And yet, it has a sort of spark to it. I detest the generic boilerplate "hallmark" movie, and this one has almost every indication that it runs in the same vein of films. But somehow, I actually enjoyed watching this one. A mix of heart string tugs and the importance of life. I wouldn't dare watch this again, but I didn't mind watching it once.
