[Veoasecan] It's structured as a social drama in which the thriller plot inevitably emerges, seemingly the easiest way to maintain attention. The first part works better than the second, but the film can't shake the feeling of a very basic approach to cinematic storytelling, failing to take advantage of the setting or the performances. Despite the use of improvisation to lend credibility to the dialogue, its lack of naturalness is surprising, while the visual approach adheres strictly to the conventions of basic cinematic grammar.
