Very enjoyable film starring Ed Norton. A good ending, too.

A very somber and depressing movie. Spike Lee does a lot to make the time we have with Monty meaningful. That mirror scene is amazing. Edward Norton is fantastic. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Barry Pepper both give great supporting performances.

A weird movie with an excellent Edward Norton as well as a top cast at his side. The movie depicts the last 24 hours in liberty of a guy who was convicted to 7 years in prison for drug trafficking. He wonders who betrayed him, he finds out who his real friends are and he reflects on his past and future. All this before the background of the the then recent 9/11/2021 attacks. A special movie that requires your attention and get you to think if you want to.

Spike Lee's love letter to post 9/11 New York. An underrated masterpiece.
