[Berlinale '25] The script co-written by Sarah Miro Fischer and Agnes Maagaard Petersen uses a moral dilemma, without moralizing, to reflect on family dynamics and the relationships of trust, especially when this is shattered by a situation that turns one of them into a possible sexual aggressor. The film is not so interested in showing the reality of the facts, but in reflecting the subjectivity of the complicated personal crossroads in which Rose finds herself, increasingly confined between window and door frames. That is why it loses some strength when it decides to abandon ambiguity.
