If the story had been as interesting as Margot, this would have been so much better.

Every single character in this movie is so insufferable. I get that Baumbach is trying to show how "asshole-y" New Yorkers can be (and I am one!), but jesus christ even I don't know anyone this insane and terrible.

An interesting dialogue and character-driven piece from Noah Baumbach about two sisters with a toxic relationship. It's nothing of this world but solid and worth watching.

A classic example of the parts being far better than the sum. It felt like it was trying to investigate several different conflicts and in the end it awkwardly only scratched the surface on all of them.
