Like watching strangers trying to guess cards telepathically: it doesn't really involve you, you didn't get the point, and they don't get a lot right. An 11-year-old Japanese girl has stuff happen to her over a summer. I dunno, maybe you have to be Japanese to feel included in this impressionistic movie.
