[DOK.fest '25] A documentary that reflects the war in Ukraine from an outside perspective, without too many incursions into the interior, instead showing the perspective of those in exile. Through the incorporation of a young soldier who has lost his legs into a Ukrainian ballet company, there are reflections on feelings of guilt and helplessness, but also on the need to establish another battlefront through artistic expression. The camera zooms in on the bodies and reflects the effort and sweat, avoiding the purely aesthetic representation of dance. And the story vindicates collective resistance through individual effort.
