A classic and engaging romance film. This is 104 minutes of falling in love that does not overstay it welcome. Cutting off right when you lost all doubts. The reservedness of this film is kind of remarkable at this point.

Although a bit naive in general, this is also a very charming comedy. The special chemistry between the idealistic and shy MacDowell and the blunt and rough Depardieu works quite well to my mind. A nice movie for a relaxed TV evening.
