What a great young actress! That ending sucker punched me big time!

Really great performance by Ana Sophia Heger.

This was such an excellent movie. It’s a great story about a ex-convict that gets mixed up with the wrong people and is trying to protect his daughter. There’s some very emotional performances. The acting was excellent from everyone involved. Taron Egerton was so good as the dad. He was believable and had the audience completely invested. Ana Sophia Heger turned in one of the best performances I’ve seen from a child actor. She was so damn good and I cared so much about her character. She literally steals the show. It’s a long movie but it’s so engaging and gripping from start to finish. It has some very intense moments. It’s extremely well shot throughout. This is something that will probably fly under the radar but really shouldn’t. It’ll take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I was fully invested from the start and it never let up. I’m extremely satisfied with it and almost shed a tear by the end of it. It’s one of my favorite ending shots in a very long time. What a beautifully emotional way to end it. I don't understand how other reviewers didn't mention the huge plot holes and overall bad writing. [spoiler]What was the point of sending him alone, with a bullet in his leg and just a gun, to a meth lab they already knew the location of? the "troy horse" metaphor doesn't hold, especially since the asian cop eventually relies on his FBI collegues to take over the lab, even tho he initially said he couldn't trust anyone ... wtf?! Not to mention: why bringing the girl?! Ana performance was ok, but I really don't understand the high praises to this movie which was average at best.[/spoiler]
