really enjoyed this movie . it was much better than I expected

Film 36 (Goal: 300) of 2024 I quite enjoyed this. It's standard Christmas fare but it's good standard Christmas fare, which was lacking severely for the Christmas 2023 releases. The film is decently written, well acted - though I'm not sure I felt a connection between Robbie Amell and Leighton Meester, who individually are likable performers. But the writing overall holds up for an enjoyable, and ultimately forgettable, Christmas film.

A Christmas rom-com with a nice family dynamic. **Leighton Meester** and **Robbie Amell** have good chemistry on screen. It provides plenty of smiles with joyful moments without the characters being over dramatic.

There was something just so off about this movie. Everyone was painfully unlikeable, the jokes were painfully unfunny, and the couple was painfully unromantic.
