Brilliant, bawled like a baby

The Wild Robot is a beautiful film, in morale, I thought it was just a children's film and maybe, and it really is, but it's exciting from a little child to an adult, it brings messages and a very important theme for today. Rate: 10/10

So many people calling this movie “brilliant” when it’s the exact opposite. I’m so tired of these family movies that give you the superficial ingredients to enjoy it (cutesy animation, animals voiced by genuinely talented actors, intense score…), at the expense of the lousiest and most idiotic writing. I adore stories that are intelligently written and treat the viewer with respect, and this was absolutely not an example of that. I don’t want to turn my brain off in order to enjoy a movie and be emotionally engaged.

The Wild Robot is one of DreamWorks’ best films in recent memory and another reminder of animation’s emotional staying power. Best animation of the year!!
