Pretty good Man vs Nature movie that probably couldn't be made today for various reasons. Watching it today... it'd be more impactful if it would have just ended after the father and son discuss the "log-jam" and Dad drives off in the jeep. The rest is just a Hollywood fantasy "happy" ending that felt tacked on.
