[Fantasia '25] A story of redemption inspired by the cinema of Jean-Claude Lauzon that proposes an almost imaginary Montreal to confront two worlds: the criminal world and the artistic and elitist circles. There is an interesting aesthetic confrontation between the two environments, which, however, reveal themselves to be less opposed than they initially appear. But the film is more interesting in its visual conception, endowed with a certain sophisticated look even if it portrays a certain sordidness, than in a script that develops along traditional and overly predictable paths.
