I think Sharknado was 10 times better than this movie

Don’t waste your time like i did

This was so bad!!! The story, script, special effects, the acting.. ugh, horrible!!

>*"Every day I look in the mirror, I see a monster. As it grows, I disappear."* Killer practical effects from Steven Boyle, a contender for the best we've had this year for sure. Some gross gory body horror that had me squirming. Some scenes at the beginning made me think of the alien entity in *Life*, nightmare fuel stuff. It's so sad though because it deserved a better story and characters, except for the impressive effects I was struggling to keep an interest for it. There's a twist about the father that was done cleverly though, I was expecting one thing the whole runtime but then the flashback surprised me. It has atmosphere, it looks good and the acting is passable. Long live practical effects!

No where near as bad as others are saying. The acting was good besides Cole, the practicals were alright, it has decent suspense and jump scares, however it's held back by a poor story and characters sometimes doing things that make absolutely no sense given the situation. The story actually makes sense once they show the flashback at the end, [spoiler] it's about fulfilling the blood pact they made with their father [/spoiler], but the movie does leave you unfulfilled when it ends because they never properly explain what the demonic possession is or why/how it's spreading or if things really come to an end
