I had the misfortune of watching this terrible movie. In short if you are poor you're gonna stay poor and you're gonna love it, god damn it. Even though you know the system is rigged against you you're gonna fight the good fight. But, wait! There's a glimmer of hope if an angel intervenes maybe one rich guy will think that it's not right but the rest of his board of directors put him back on track... Keanu can't act. Rogen can only shout. Whoever wrote this can't write comedy. Avoid. But do look up the French song by Niagara "Quand la ville dort" which plays towards the end
a comedy so boring that make u sleep right-away, nowadays comedy is not funny, horror is not scary, action that is boring, but the common thing is that all is about propaganda. please avoid this sh1t, save your money, instead go and look for a old comedy movie, or see funny animals in youtube, but this movie is bad.
If you've seen works by Aziz Ansari like "Master of None," then you know pretty much what kind of comedy to expect in “Good Fortune.” It's a film that uses precise observations to humorously tackle the gig economy while giving the body-swap trope a fresh twist. While "Good Fortune" is never as profound as it wants to be, the film has its heart in the right place. At the center of the body swap, Ansari and Seth Rogen essentially embody their usual roles. Keanu Reeves plays the somewhat clueless but sincere angel Gabriel, a character who mixes elements of Ted and Reeves himself. All three work well together, and Keanu in particular does a wonderful job. I can definitely recommend "Good Fortune." Decent comedies have become rare on the big screen, but this one has made it there.
Keanu Reeves is hilarious in this. Keke Palmer was made for comedy.
"How's the texting and driving going?" "It's a lot. People really love doing it." Ehhh... Maybe I'm just tired, but this was kinda boring. Somehow less than the sum of its parts. The social commentary is painfully on the nose. Felt way longer than 98 minutes. Keanu is by far the best part. Even if I didn't think this was all that funny, it's such a great feeling hearing people laughing in the theater.
