The story itself is weak, and the character arcs are a complete failure. The tropes of communicating with ghosts, demonic possession, and the protagonist defying his grandparent's teachings are all clichés that Tamil cinema has already exhausted. The duality between the corrupt cop and the vigilante was far below expectations. The villain never feels like a credible threat, as the hero overcomes every obstacle with little effort. The placement of a romance song in the pre-climax was a poor creative choice, made worse by the heroine dressing as a retro movie character simply because the hero pretends to be one. The film is riddled with further flaws, and I would not recommend watching it.
