Sarah Michelle Gellar basically plays Buffy again.
Matthew Lillard played Shaggy so well and almost covered up for the lack of chemistry between the rest of the cast
Some say this sequel is superior than the first but it's goofier and forces the Fred and Daphne relationship on us more. When despite being married Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar have no chemistry. Prinze Jr. tries hard to be cool as Fred but he comes off as dorky as he was in the first. Sarah Michelle Gellar phones it in as well. Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini once again prove to be the better casting. The first was goofy but I at least found it more involving.
Scooby doo Monsters Unleashed is one heck of a sequel and I love it so much, i wouldn’t say it’s quite as good as the first film as that’s very hard to beat but this one is definitely more funny like there’s some seriously crazy shit in this that’s so freaking ridiculous The characters are even more goofy in this than the first movie like where to I even begin, we’ve got Scoob with a freaking Afro and Shaggy with a pair of boobies which was absolutely hilarious man and I literally couldn't stop laughing at that potion scene, especially at Einstein Scoobs and full on steroid head Shaggy, I loved it so much. That epic dance scene with groovy Scooby Doo and pimp Shaggy was so awesome and Scooby has some sweet moves going on. The rest of the gang were hysterical too, I loved the part where Velma was dressed to look really hot as that was so funny and I kinda have a very big crush on Velma, sorry Daphne but there is a new girl in town (she’s still a badass though). The villains were pretty hysterical and I loved all of their wacky designs, those weird one eyed skeleton things were definitely my favourite as they were so funny, the blob was cool too. I absolutely love these two movies so much and I literally so wished they made this a trilogy as it would’ve been awesome and it deserves it. I am gonna give Scooby Doo 2 a 9 out of 10. 9/10
