It's good, but uncomfortable. It starts by feeling like a horror movie, with a lot of suspense. You don't know what everyone's motives are, it makes you uneasy for the girl moving alone to the country where she knows no one. Every interaction makes you question their intent and expectations. The director wants to show you how oppressive society is. Why do we feel nervous for this girl alone in the country side? Should she be scared? Why does society make us feel that way or enforce that? It looks at relationships and dependencies. What is love? It shows how some people can view connections coldly and factually, while others look at relationships through a different lens and maybe one that isn't real. I see why the movie was rated low, it was done in five weeks on a tight budget, but it was done well given the restrictions The topic is not a fun one to discuss, so people won't like it. There are a lot of microaggressions, like a seemingly nice neighbor that just wants to be better than you and show it. All of these issues exist and real life and the movie shows how overwhelming they can be, it does not allow escapism in movies many people seek but instead forces you to confront some frustrating truths. Not a "fun" watch, but glad I saw it.
