[JFF '23] The director couples the ghost subgenre to a romantic comedy in which the protagonist feels increasingly attracted to a young ghost who never knew love in life. Although it may fall into some romantic comedy tropes, the particular nature of the relationship between Yohei and Aisuke allows for reflections on how to take advantage of life and how it can be lost in an instant. There are also somewhat extravagant characters who provide a certain comedy, and despite some narrative imbalances, it manages to close with an ending that is in some way connected to the beginning.
