[New Horizons FF] The film doesn't directly address the isolation of our society, but it is intrinsically represented. But in the apparently apathetic journey, and in the temporary relationship of the two protagonists on the banks of the river, it achieves a representation of the modern society through a return to the pleasure, almost guilty, of spending time doing nothing. The smile of the young woman when she sees the man in the river through the train window defines by itself the mental healing that idle afternoon has caused her.
