A very underrated Action, Drama, Thriller franchise.

For an over 50-year-old disaster movie, it is in shape. It takes a long time to start and has unnecessary threads of a typical romance novel. But definitely +1 for the priest role in the end. ;)

This was awful, and I couldn't even finish it. The pacing was slow, and the special effects were atrociously awful. The delivery of the lines seemed forced, almost as if the actors wanted to get this crap show over with as quickly as humanly possible

Still a decent film after all these years, though when I watch, I still see shades of Airplane and can’t help but laugh unintentionally

Great, classic ensemble piece. It's the grandaddy of disaster films. This is the one that started it all. And even though it's overly long, suffers from the showy acting of yesteryear and doesn't feature all that much action, it's quite engaging. All the subplots keep you interested throughout, as the tension ramps up. May be a bit of a slog for modern audiences, but I love it.
