Came for Lily Gladstone wanting to watch another one of her performances. Her’s and Isabel Deroy-Olson were the highlights of this film. Honestly everyone was giving this a decent performance. That and anything mainstream that lives in the culture of the Native American people is a welcome sight. Unfortunately, this is where my praises end. Not very stylistically driven and a fairly weak story. Annoying and repetitive beats mixed with some padded out scenes make this feel like an extended short story. With a little more focus and attention to detail, this could’ve struck a lot harder.

I tried for Lily, what a boring movie

Beautiful movie with a great message and powerful story. I loved it.

I so much wished this was better than it is. Came for Lily Gladstone. It’s also a nice to have a glimpse into Native culture, as we seldom see this. But alas, the film, or rather the plot itself was boring as heck.

Oh man this was bad. Waste of time
