I love these types of movies. Almost all in one location, great acting, engaging story.

*The Hateful Eight* in summer. A decent little thriller with good acting, a decent soundtrack, entertaining characters, an isolated location and lots of tension. I was fully captivated from beginning to end. The only problem is there's just endless guests that come into the diner and that's a bit repetitive and I was just waiting for it to get to the point already but more keep popping in. When it finally does climax, it's wild! Drags a little bit after that but solid last couple of minutes and ending. Could've been better with a few less characters and really focusing on fleshing out others instead.

“He’s not the smartest tool in the shed…” my new favorite line. Hilarious and ominous atmosphere ala Cohen Brothers. Great acting and dialog all around.

A good movie with an intriguing story that manages to hold your attention from start to finish. However, the ending introduces events that force a character's transformation in a somewhat unnatural way, making their actions feel disconnected, which ends up hurting the film. Although the conclusion is interesting, it would have been more impactful if the character had achieved their goal, making the ending even more satisfying.
