_Meeting Mr. Christmas_ is an entertaining, albeit formulaic, holiday romance. When Sophie, an online travel blogger, returns home for Christmas to help with her mother’s charity, her jaded and cynical feels about the holiday are challenged by a small-town doctor she dubs Mr. Christmas. Greta Carew-Johns gives a strong performance, but the same can’t be said of her co-stars. And the plot is pretty cliché and is full of tropes. However, there are some fun bits of comedy and the characters likable. It’s fairly predictable and not very well written, but _Meeting Mr. Christmas_ as a certain charm to it and a nice message about being open to new experiences.
