So much hate for this movie, and while an obvious play on the squid games, it had it's own twist, and it was just a fun 90 minutes.

The octopus game: an insult The Octopus Game is a movie that aims to be a parody of The Squid Game, but all it succeeds in doing is being absolutely bad. The film is a parade of clichés and absurdities that make it a tedious and forgettable spectacle. The protagonists of the film are a group of desperate people who agree to participate in a deadly contest with the promise of winning a large sum of money. However, these characters are so one-dimensional that it is impossible to empathize with them. They are simply puppets that serve to advance the plot. The film's direction is mediocre, and the cinematography is flat and without personality. The deadly games are unexciting and the violence is graphic and gratuitous. Overall, The Octopus Game is a boring and disappointing film. It is an insult that is not worth seeing.

The Octogames (2022) - ❤x4 As the movie started - I knew I was going to be in for a rough ride. Although . . . a bunch [spoiler] of influencers were killed right off the bat [/spoiler] - so I stuck with it. The whole thing is basically a horrible knockoff of Squid Game (2021). Ultimately tho, it's not really worth anyone's time. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
