The director manages to create a special atmosphere, which is sometimes reminiscent of "Ar condicionado" (2020), which makes the film follow precisely a different path, a unique story that talks about ordinary topics from an extraordinary point of view. But with its narrative shortcuts and its hidden mystery, it's a story that manages to shed the strangeness of the Kafkaesque wrapper to draw surprisingly realistic characters.
