I agree with Pedro, I thought the movie was really good!

One of the better hostage/horror movies that is carried by the great performance of Rebecca De Mournay. Sure, many of the action/horror scenes are over the top, but isn’t that why we watch them? All in all, a good and entertaining entry of the genre.

So it had the promise of a decent premise and I was with it for the first 30 minutes. After that, it’s like the writers just gave up and fell into every horrible trope. The people in the house acted stupidly and the criminals were just plain inconsistent. It’s a shame because they had a lot of good actors and the performances were not horrible.

Another home invasion that lacks the horror and thrills, because I've seen it done before. I haven't seen the original, but already I know it's better than this movie. If I have to be honest, I only watched this cause it's Mother's Day in the UK
