so many elements, 'specially the Spanish part....amazing!

History can be a funny thing, specially when mel brooks is involved... another good work from him... funny to see a small part from a young (John Hurt) playing Jesus.. RIP dude!

After hearing the whole part 2 announced on Hulu, decided to give Part 1 a try. The Roman Empire is good but the Spanish Inquisition one less favorable on. The jokes goes from being funny to just being no comment. Not the best of Mel Brooks films but not the worse from him.

Awesome! As long as you take it all as the jokes were intended then its a classic bunch of laughs.

Mel brooks at his best and before woke censorship. Hilarious for fans of Mel and his juvenile humour. PS: Forget the 2023 part 2. It does not work and spoils the fun of the first part.
