Gracie and Sam's chemistry drives this movie. I loved seeing this duo on screen. It is not close to being as vibrant and successful as the first film, but the charm lives on. The plot and cast have worn thin but Gracie is as amiable as ever. The mystery is bare and boring, and survives on faltering bits and pieces. The costumes felt ridiculously far-fetched and the stunts were exaggerated as well. The only watchable factor was Sandra's unyielding charisma.
> "You didn't just call me sister, because I don't recall seeing a little skinny ass white girl around the table growing up." By today's standards this actually holds up pretty well. Unfortunately the first one is just so damn good that this one comes up a little short in comparison. Bullock and King are a good duo in this!
Hehehe Christopher goes rogue, this was pretty fucking great tbh. Unexpectedly woke for ’05 and just generally a very good time.
Personally I liked the first movie more. The second movie starts kinda slow and unspectacular. It gets better in the second half but can't keep up with the first one. There were much less comedic moments that triggered a laugh in the sequel.
Still love this movie, it's a good laugh.
