The first costume drama ever completed and my fav. ❤❤❤❤

Watch it for main couple slow burn romance (no :kiss_woman_man: as usual for Allen ren ) and their chemistry with touch of investigative genius. We all know the bad guy but he gets away due to power (hence the title Under the Power) as the underdogs build a case to trap that feet pervert and give him a fitting ending. I love how Yuan Jinxia is shameless in her admiration for Lu Yi & money and i love how he change his cold emotions to match this warm woman ad become caring but lets her do her own thing without having to but-in as a man. There are couple of love triangles and the most annoying one in both is Xie Xiao ; i wished he would be off'ed more than the villian such an obnoxious bratty log head made Shangguan suffeer initially and use through his presence but he was a good catalyst for the both triangle to grow close to their true loves . This is one drama i could watch a Season2 just because of the leads chemistry and pacing of the story had little trouble in the middle but it was never boring.
