Started really well and then the plot stuck! A very very sad story but it feels like if the writers only focused in making the story the saddest possibly without letting the plot build into something else neither any development on the side characters... I feel like everyone of the viewers feeled like in the middle the main characters was going to help the other ghosts before going to the afterlife and that was when things get very upsetting... It's a good drama if you think in every episode separetely but the whole story could be better! At least acting was good.
My Score 7.8/10
Its a sob story .. If you want to remember a bereaved and cry ; do watch this but skip episodes 5-14 as there is no plot in there.
There is no character development in the story Kang-Hwa doesn't get better at his PTSD and cant stop being sorry for everything and indecisive. God he cries the most in the show and pouting always .. he is most irriating in the show the reason i give it a 6 star instead of 8.
''Hi Bye, Mama'' is undoubtedly a very thought-provoking drama. It makes you reflect on the most important and precious values in your life and it makes you realize how important the people you love are. The drama surely warms your heart and it brings tears to your eyes. I honestly admire the idea of the show and but it was not executed well. With this type of story, things can easily go wrong. It did go wrong in the middle without story moving any further. The first 10mins and last 10mins of each each espisode has content. This show would have been better if it had focused on each ghosts past on each episode instead just dragging it for 16 episodes with a small secret. If you want to watch something that will make you cry once in a while, watch this... But do it sparingly!
