I keep waiting for the India chapter of SoA to come help Jax….I mean Lin baba.

[tv+] If the original book already had a racist whiff, a colonialist vision of the white man who comes to fix the problems of the poor Indians, the series doesn't make much effort to give more complexity to the characters in a story that is too self-satisfied that It's hardly credible as an autobiographical reflection. But, although there is a high production level, it ends up having the same problem as "Tokyo Vice" as a westernized vision that only portrays Asian societies as corrupt and criminal. Charlie Hunnam determined to speak with an impossible Australian accent doesn't help either.

I see people are talking about the accent. Ugh. Who cares! He is british, and doing his best to do an australian accent. Not his fault. The only thing I didn’t like about these series is that it is super outdated and misrepresentation of Mumbai. That’s all made up stories. It scared me to not want to go to India at all cause it is shown as not safe at all.

I'm OK with this being the ending, I'm just happy it's over.

I liked this show very much.
