Season 1 I like it very much but Season 2 is frustrating. Cursing and lots of useless conversations so it become annoying. I saw Season 2 at 2x speed.

Quite enjoyed season 1 but finding it hard to get into season 2. The refusal to accept authority has been really done to death to such an extent that it it just gets tiresome, in fact the whole unit comes across as a such a bunch of obnoxious dicks that it’s hard to care whether they die or not, the endless cussing gets annoying too. I might persevere with it longer provided they dial back on the endless bloody monologues from Paddy Maine, they are super irritating, add nothing and are basically just filler, I’ve gotten to fast forwarding through them now, I might miss some nugget of information but better that than endure his endless drivel.

First, I highly recommend you rewatch season 1, as this picks up from their (for the most part), and rewatching this made me truly appreciate season 2 so much more, my second time through it. This season is slower, BUT it is addressed as a non-spoiler, they had to coordinate with the other allies nearby, so like in Band of Brothers, or any other movie about these such so crazy they worked stories of heroism in war, they had craziness followed by downtime, repeat... The story moves well, and I really enjoy the depths they dive into with the characters... It is a very well done dramatization, based off true stories!
