RIP Hana Kimura. This season is cursed.

It was so unfortunate that someone who would have been loved and appreciated by so many was so affected by the harassment of a few people. In hindsight Hana should never have been on a show like this. If you don't have a personality or coping mechanisisms that can deal with criticism from the idiots of the world, then tv in general, let alone reality tv is not the place for you. I haven't seen specific reports of the online bullying she was subjected to but I expect it was par for the course for many people appearing on the show. It would be wonderful if we could expect people to behave in a respectful way but that's just not reality. It’s quite possible that those people were so horrible because of traumatic things that happened to them and if they are aware that their behaviour influenced Hana’s decision to take her life, then they may in turn have suffered mentally and even considered doing the same. Its sad that it had to go so far before people looked at the production with a more critical eye. If they had cast someone else instead of Hana, they may have just suffered through the bullying and the show would have continued.

This show is our new obsession. I can't wait to go back and watch older seasons!
