This is just wonderful in its capacity for genuine discomfort. My god, so much bad comedy is like awkward for its own sake. This has me pausing and exclaiming so I can better cope with the ick that Amir brings to the scenes. Like, bravo. Laugh out loud while you sink further and further into a pit of distaste and whatever a notch above cringe is called. There's an awareness and genius here that is vastly underappreciated. My benchmark for shit comedy was The Characters before I saw monstrosity reboot of History of the World. Ten seconds of this show is what all of those people wish they were doing over hours of wasted effort.
