this show had one of the best and epic intros I've seen. It kinda got a bit slow after episode three but it was still interesting and definitely worth a watch. I wish it kept the same tone as the first three episodes all the way through but its understandble it can't though. Still amazing nonetheless
First season was enjoyable, fast paced and well animated. A bit confusing but an interesting thriller. Second season was slow and badly written. Bad plot and bad ending (it bas not and end). I hope that season 3 will be at least at the level of season 1.
The Royal Investigation Service (RIS) is on the trail of a mysterious series of murders. An alleged serial killer commits gruesome murders in the country of Cremona and always leaves a signature at the scene of the crime: the letter "B". Joining the investigative team is ex-cop Keith Kazama Flick, who is hot on the trail of Killer B along with young detective Lily Hoshina. I saw the anime a long time ago and can't remember much about it, but for me "B: The Beginning" is one of the better Netflix animes. The mystery of the killer is well written and the fights are well coordinated and animated. In general, the series creates a good atmosphere. Would love to have more of this!
I know a few people aren't so fond of this show but I genuinely enjoyed it. You kinda feel like you're following three plotlines at the same time but ultimately it works and contains a good mixture of supernatural elements and classic detective work.
The animation is great, the plot not so much. A good animation can't do much if it isn't supported by a good, compelling, story. I personally enjoy the mystery part, but the supernatural element breaks if for me, which isn't to say that I can't enjoy a story with supernatural elements. Anyway, I'm still watching just for the animation.
