It had a promising storyline at the start and the narration made me think we would eventually jump ahead to the stardom part, but instead they kept the story as a progression. [spoiler] Then they make it seem like they get semi-famous, but without an album.... [/spoiler] The script continues to get messier and messier and the story doesn't make sense anymore. It had potential but for me it flopped.

This is one the best shows. With their original songs and voices. Why did they cancel this show? Fox is such an ass to cancel this amazing show. And that too with that ending!!! Ugh!! What is wrong with them!? :person_facepalming_tone1::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Just finished watching the first episode...and I have to say that this show looks very promising. It has an Empire feel to it, though I don't think it's their real voices for the singing parts.. unlike Empire where the actors are really singing. But overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how this season plays out.

Looked interesting. I was attracted to the idea of a major song production each week and Queen Latifa and Benjamin Bratt in the cast. But, after watching fur episodes I'm abandoning it. The characters, the story line, and even the music lacked authenticity. I give it a 4 (poor) out of 10. [Music-based Drama]
