Quand un policier afro-américain tue un étudiant blanc désarmé, leur petite ville de Caroline du Nord est bouleversée. Avant même que les habitants n'aient le temps d'apprendre la tragédie, l'affaire cachée du meurtre d'un adolescent afro-américain est remis sur le tapis, ouvrant des blessures qui menacent de diviser complètement la ville. After watching the pilot I wouldn't really recommend this. It had potential but there is very little chemistry between the main characters and I found nothing to like about the main male actor at all. The female lead was a lot better but still not amazing. I won't be continuing to watch this even though the premise had be quite interested.
Very well-written, nuanced approach to the very topical subject of police brutality and racism. The two main protagonists are very strong-minded and opinionated, but also complex enough to remain interesting throughout the series. A great depiction of how politics tend to erode the administration of justice.
After 8 episodes, i dont see any renewal expectations. This drama is so slow and never get to the point. The main character is unlikeable.
