Second Season was better than the first one. The best part of the series were the non-stop sarcastic dialogues which were awesomely delivered by the voice actors. Overall it was a good Anime to worth spending your time. **Edit:** I don't remember why I liked the first two seasons but the third season (except the last episode) was awful and to be honest I don't even remember the first two seasons that well.

People mention this as one of the better romcoms, and I do like the MC and the dialogue. But at times, watching this felt like a chore, and I just wanted it to be over. Hachiman is a great MC, one who I can both relate to and not understand at all. But... I can't quite point my finger on what it is, but the plot wasn't for me. And let's make one thing clear, despite the name this anime is not funny. At all. If you want to smile, watch something else

I quite liked watching this light novel. I find the story very well-developed. As a person who lives a socially isolated life myself, I understand the MC and his thinking style from experience, and I can confirm the (healthy) effects that socializing and friendship have on people, just like it does to myself. The comedy style is pretty smooth, I had a laughter on several occasions while watching it. I think the romantic part is also very interesting and describes fairly accurately how first relationships tend to develop in an introverted teen's life, specially a grumpy one. [spoiler]The last season ended in a way that I didn't like much, since it left the love triangle open, but I suppose this is aligned with the "SNAFU" part of the anime's name. After all, Hikigaya didn't seem much interested in typical romance stuff, but rather in being around the two girls, Horikita and Yuigahama, as one can tell from his reaction to Horikita's love declaration in the last episode. I thought there would be a season 4 to show the development of Hikigaya's last school year, but it seems the novel has ended at this, which is another thing I didn't like much. All that said, it was a superb anime to me.[/spoiler]
