Good Behavior delivers a strong second season that takes some interesting twists and turns. After winning custody of her son Letty goes on the run with Javier and attempts to settle into a normal, quiet suburban life, but it proves to be more difficult than they expect. Michelle Dockery and Juan Diego Botto both give impressive performances; especially Dockery, who shows remarkable versatility and emotional depth. The writing is also pretty good, particularly in its serial storytelling; creating arcs that build over multiple episodes. However, the explicit sex and drug use comes off as exploitative and unnecessary. And the finale leaves the series in somewhat of an awkward place. Season 2 of Good Behavior is an improvement, but the show’s still a little scattershot.
