Charlotte started as just a funny show, however it got deeper and deeper with every episode. Totally recommended, action, mystery, comedy and romance. If you liked Heroes (American TV Show) you will like this one. One of the best of the season.

Initially this Anime has a lot of funny scenes to offer but as the Story progresses, we got to see the serious side of the story. The last two episodes were the Best. One of the best thing is the animation; I will definitely recommend this one to everyone who like to watch Drama-Fantasy based anime.

I'm going to preface this by saying I am absolutely in love with 90% of Key's visual novel adaptations. Charlotte is one of the most interesting Anime's I've seen in a while. My biggest complaint is that character development happens at a rapid pace to focus on the story acceleration (which has proven common among Key Animes). The end result is that a character can go from 0-100 over the course of an episode or from sociopath to Nobel Peace Prize winner. Charlotte has a similar setting to My Hero Academia, but the feel of the Anime couldn't be more different. There is so much more character in this Anime which makes it blur the line between a slice of life and an action Anime. This story got so much deeper and stronger as it progressed while My Hero Academia just touts the same theme over and over again, only keeping viewers around for the action. Overall, I'd greatly recommend this Anime. It was short and could've been much more, but it was still very strong in its own right.

What a ride! Charlotte had me laughing, crying, and completely blindsided by that plot twist. It has its flaws like the pacing, mainly because the story felt like it was supposed to be longer but the emotional moments still hit like a truck.

Yu Otasaka appears to be a charming, intelligent teenager on the outside. He goes to a prestigious high school, gets top grades and is charismatic. But behind his achievements lies a secret ability: he can take control of the minds and bodies of others for five seconds. With the help of this gift, he has so far maneuvered his way through school, but when the mysterious Nao Tomori catches him using his ability, that's all over. Nao is a student council member at Hoshinoumi Academy, a school specifically for students of exceptional ability. The student council should track down talented people who misuse their powers and bring them into the circle of trainees. With the quests and adventures that await Yu, he discovers that his powers are far more powerful than he initially thought. "Charlotte" is a really interesting anime that has a really good plot twist. Unfortunately, the characters were written a little too clichéd for me and sometimes really annoying.
