Average episode rating for this season: 7.84615385 It's a real shame USA pulled a Syfy and canceled this series just when it reached the target of three years' worth of buildup. The payoff in season four could have been truly superb.
A pity the series is cancelled. The ending is therefor really open and unstatifying
USA’s thrilling sci-fi series Colony comes to an end in its third and final season. After the rendition of the LA colony the Bowmans go on the run and are taken in by a resistance camp; meanwhile Broussard helps ferry rendition survivors out of the LA block and collects intel left behind by the Global Authority. The writing is pretty good and takes some daring risks, including some interesting developments in the alien mythos and character relationships. And, the performances are also quite strong. However, behind-the-scenes troubles (including the departure of series co-creator Carlton Cuse) lead USA to cancel Colony, making its third season its last.
They bumped up sci-fi with this season. I found it more enjoying then previous season.
I watched about 6 episodes of it and I can't get into it! They could've done so much more with the show and made it much more interesting for me it seems like it's turning into a soap opera with mediocre writing and characters I really don't care about. Anyway I just googled it and it looks like it's been canceled and the finale is set to air on Wednesday the 25th, 2018 and it's probably going to leave a bunch of unanswered questions so I'm glad I stopped now!
