I'm beginning to think ending this show after 3 seasons was the right decision
Maybe people new to the show will enjoy this season. But with such a huge gap between seasons 3 and 4 and another six years between seasons 4 and 5, I barely remember the storyline and have lost most of my interest. Aside from Tobias' innuendo jokes, this series' humor derives mostly from references to previous events, which makes it difficult for me to enjoy. For that reason, I'm going to refrain from rating this season at all.
This was slightly better than s4 (I only watched the recut) but why did it take so long? Everyone looked obviously older (Will Arnett especially) than they did in s4 yet it was meant to be immediately after? I doubt there's another season coming with Jessica Walter dead and Jeffrey Tambor's problems, which is probably just as well...
Pleasant enough but a far cry from the golden age of the first three seasons
