Manasa gathers Mahadev's devotees in Kailash to protest against him. Ganesh handles Manasa and tries to clear her doubts about Mahadev. Parvati tries to do the same, but in vain. Meanwhile, Mahadev promises to grant Bhilni's wish after returning from Kailash.

Mahadev's devotees apologise to him for losing faith. He tries to clear Manasa's misunderstandings, but she wishes to be worshipped as a goddess. He agrees to allow it, but only if she passes a test. After this, Mahadev tells Parvati that he needs to go to Bhilni.

As Parvati worries about losing Mahadev, he assures Bhilni that he will marry her. Manasa, meanwhile, goes to Chandradhar, Mahadev's most ardent devotee. She tries to make him her devotee, which he refuses.

Parvati loses her faith in Mahadev after he decides to marry Bhilni. Does this mean Mahadev will have two wives? Meanwhile, Manasa tries to force Chandradhar to become her devotee. She threatens to attack his sons if he doesn't do her bidding.

Parvati admits to Mahadev how she had tested him. He makes her realise that he was aware of her intentions all the time. Manasa gets angry at Chandradhar for refusing to become her devotee and kills his sons.

Chandradhar and his wife are lost in grief after Manasa kills their sons. Manasa insists that Chandradhar should become her devotee, else she will kill Lakshmi Chandra. On Lord Brahma's advice, Ganesh vows to take care of Lakshmi Chandra by getting him married to Behula.

On hearing about Manasa's atrocities against the brothers of Lakshmi Chandra, Behula consoles him. Meanwhile, Diti and Vasukhi forbid Manasa from attacking Lakshmi Chandra. Mahadev is impressed with Chandradhar's devotion. Lakshmi Chandra and Behula get married.

While Behula strives to protect Lakshmi Chandra from Manasa, Mahadev condemns Manasa for misusing her power. On Manasa's insistence, Behula tries to persuade Chandradhar to become her devotee. An angry Manasa attacks Lakshmi Chandra by injecting poison into him.

While Nandi and Kartikay worry about Behula, Mahadev and Parvati perform sadhana to pacify Manasa. Despite Diti and Vasuki's attempts to stop her, Manasa is adamant on making Chandradhar her devotee. As Behula worships Mahadev to heal Lakshmi Chandra, Manasa tries to distract her.

While taunting Behula, Manasa insists that Chandradhar should become her devotee. Chandradhar and Behula's prayers are answered and Mahadev appears before them. Manasa boasts about her power, but is unable to rid Lakshmi Chandra’s body of the poison.

A repentant Manasa is enlightened about devotion by Mahadev. She apologises to him and Chandradhar and heals Lakshmi Chandra. She also seeks redemption from Parvati. In return, she is blessed by Mahadev and Parvati to be worshipped as a goddess.
