Season one and two are quite interesting. Like a documentary of a bygone era featuring a version of Berlin that no longer exists. Krug is a gem. Becker writes sharp and witty dialogues. The rest is mediocre. Maybe it used to be a much better show back then. I understand that this unconventional guy was probably a revolution back then. He was probably not like any other boring lawyer on TV. Such unconventional characters became ubiquitous though and all in all this show is - in hindsight - totally innocuous and mediocre entertainment. To me, the legendary status of this show is understandable but undeserved.
