In sketches, a bachelor with a throbbing headache struggles to make breakfast. A new prisoner is coerced by cellmates to attempt several ridiculous escape schemes. One plan finally works, they escape, and he gets caught by the guard.

Jackie Gleason hosts with guests singer Jane Pickens, comedian Roger Price, singer Milton Douglas, plus regulars the June Taylor Dancers. Gleason celebrates 15 years in show business this week. In sketches, Jackie plays a bachelor decorating for his birthday party, and a bank clerk stealing money right in front of his boss who can't see without glasses. Pickens sings "Figeuner" and Blue Tail Fly". Douglas performs "That Lucky Old Sun" and "Begin the Beguine" with the June Taylor Dancers.
