Mackenzie Clarke, une policière expatriée à Londres, est contrainte de retourner vivre temporairement à Dolphin Cove en Australie, la ville de son enfance. Lorsqu'un meurtre est commis, Mack ne peut s'empêcher de mettre à profit ses talents d'enquêtrice. Ce retour au bercail ravive son lot de souvenirs plus ou moins agréables et engendre des retrouvailles un peu compliquées, notamment avec son ex-fiancé Glenn, qu’elle a quitté le jour de leur mariage, et avec son ex-belle-mère et ex-patronne, qui dirige le poste de police de la ville. Cet endroit paradisiaque sur la côte de Nouvelles-Galles du Sud est le théâtre de meurtres complexes, que Mack va tâcher de résoudre à l’aide de sa nouvelle équipe : le lieutenant Colin Cartwright, un Anglais expatrié en Australie, l’agent Felix Wilkinson, et Reggie Rocco, une ancienne prof reconvertie en bénévole auprès de la police.

Another show with nonstop unbearable jingles in the background. The musical equivalent of a laugh track… the show is extremely cheeky to the point of nausea.
Oh my God this went downhill fast... By episode 4 it had turned into absolute tripe! Not a patch on the original Death in Paradise and we won't be watching anymore... Don't waste your time it's terrible!
It's a lovely "stupid" series. Comparable to the death in paradise atmosphere and vibe, but a bit more intelligent in general and less woke. Still - just keep your brain turned off and you'll be fine. Just enough humor and endearing to keep it interesting.
i really Liked it, it's fun! Not perfect obviously but a good watch. Contrary to the overdramatic negative comments it is a cute show the critisizm seems like more of a personal bias projection rather than abour the show itself. it's lighthearted and sticks to the 'paradise' franchise especially with the 'locked room' type mysteries and brilliant unique detectives. they even have the beachside weird living space that looks super similar to the others. Neuro divergents need representation and inclusion rather than being forced to conform into a system not built for us society used to hide everyone different just to project a fake image of 'perfection'. sadly that mentality shapes a lot of people's reactions still. I love how the paradise style got blended with the fun Austrailian flavors and became unique. i like the silliness they get up to but at the same time it is a subtle message that people who are different can flourish and accomplish great things when allowed to, that's how the genius comes out. the negativity here is over the top bordering on cruel and trollish. it's a fun show to pass the time and the views are MAGNIFICENT! I recommend it. I do hope this show improves, it has very good potetial.
