Low quality anime. Better if you don't watch.

it's a pretty low quality anime honestly, it's as generic as it gets... however in the second part where he goes to magic school it does become pretty enjoyable with the very Mashle Magic and Muscles kinda vibe where he is basically a swordsman in a magic school so of course he sometimes uses his wand as a sword itself and it's pretty funny when he does use it like that. 6/10 anime though, I feel like it should have only focused on the magic part of his universe since that was the better half of the anime in my opinion.

I'm having trouble elucidating my issues with this series. I think my main problem is that the MC is just so dull. There are aspects of his personality that I like, but his drive to get stronger is simply, "to see if he can". That might sound cool on paper, but when the MC has no drive and quickly becomes more and more OP, it just gets boring....and I love OP MC's. Another issue is the pacing of the story, there are multiple time skips in this show....just showing the MC having completed another training that makes him even further OP....instead of bringing us along for the journey. Also, what's with the lack of character redesign after some of these time skips? Especially his older sister....why does she look the same as she did when he was a child? This show has problems. I'd check out another season just because of my aforementioned love of OP MC's, but they need something to drive this story.

This filler series has good beginning that quickly turned into nothing but just another forgotten 12 episode filler series fast. It's as if AI wrote the whole thing, animate and filled the voices. It's not recommended and a waste of time.
