Watched the first ep. It could have been a great family show that both kids and adults could enjoy, but it skews very young imo. Very made for kids tv. Jack Gleeson's Wentworth was a cartoon villain. I kept expecting him to twirl his moustache. Lots of strange plot holes and inconsistencies. I probably won't watch the others.

This wasn’t as bad as some of the comments here made me believe. I have the much older Famous Five series in my collection and this remake with today’s high definition technology is quite close to what I imagined in my head while reading Enid Blyton’s books as a child (with the exception of some characters being changed to match today’s trends). I wish they’d do Adventurous Four and Secret Seven at some point. I would love to see those books come to life on screen.

I watched the curse of kirrin island pt 1 on Hulu and I just wanna say, this is as bad as everyone said it was. There were weird cuts, the plot was confusing and half the time I didn't know what was happening.
